Biography
Milivoje Kljajic-Kljaja and Aleksandar-Sasa Bogdanovic have collaborated as a songwriting duo since 2002, through several musical projects, of which most notable were Withed Tears (2002-2006, Doom/Gothic Metal) and Marble (2007-2013, Alternative Rock), and after a hiatus (2014-2021) where each worked with their respective side and solo projects, eventually reconciled in January 2022, forming Dvoeverie.
Dvoeverie started as a mixture of old-school metal genres, leaning on the darker side with two singles appearing in succession in Q1 of 2022. The single ''And a Dark Day Fell'' represented the band's darker, Gothic-themed and melancholic take on the Metal genre, and ''Gods of Ancient'' followed, with more epic, atmospheric, pagan-themed sound. The ensuing, eponymous album 'Dvoeverie' resulted as a fair amalgamation of the Gothic-Pagan natures of the preceding singles.
The end of 2022 saw the second release, ,,The Unwritten Psalms'' in the form of EP, continuing in similar fashion, where 6 songs focused on social, psychological and historical topics.
The following year the band decided to leave out black metal influences and focused on what they apparently did the best - pure melancholic, gloomy, sombre, yet often energetic and angry heavy metal. First release in this distilled style was ''Accipimus Dolorem'', a ten song LP, published in June 2023 by German label ''Fetzner Death Records'' on CD and as a digital release. The album received excellent reception, highly ranked by many European magazines such as Black Metal Austria, Ammo Supports the Underground (Ger), Slovenian radio 'Student', British radio Rocking Fox, and many more...
As an answer to the great reception and suppport, Dvoeverie decided to record two bonus tracks for the digital version of the album - ''The Hive'', which appeared in July as an official video, and ''Certain Loss'' released in August. Bandcamp and Spotify versions of ''Accipimus Dolorem'' thus consist of 12 songs.
The third album ''Stalemate of Eons'' is underway and is set for release in second half of 2024 under the same record label.
